About Me
My name is Alexander Siegelman. I am a senior at Newton North High School deeply interested in all levels of politics and government. My experience in politics is quite limited however. I have worked at the State House for the past three summers and am now beginning to work as an intern. At school, I am deeply invested in the Model United Nations club and Debate team as a Secretary General and case writer, respectively. I love talking with people and learning more about them as individuals.
In the future, I would love to work in politics at any level. I enjoy discussing policy issues and solving real world problems. I feel that as a public servant, my responsibilities are to serve the constituents and be available for those around me. |
My Internship
During the second semester of 2019 in March-May, I will be working at State Representative Khan’s office in the Massachusetts State House as a legislative intern. My boss is Jessie Brunelle, Rep. Khan’s Chief of Staff. My duties will include attendance policy briefings, taking notes during house sessions and meetings, writing policy memos, working on letters of testimony, and having the opportunity to attend public events.
